We set out to design and build the nicest and most complete heated storage facility in Northern Michigan. Although there are other storage facilities in the area, there isn't one with all the amenities that Anchors Away has to offer. Starting with a paved driveway!

Q. What size vessels can you store?
A. We have stored up to 50' boats at 19' in height.
Q. How often can I access my boat or RV during the winter?
A. As often as you want...you just can't sleep on it.
Q. How do I enter the building during the storage season?
A. You will have a private 4 digit code for access through our digital keypad.
Services
We have secured the best hauler in northern Michigan for your vessel with Premier Marine Service. Premier Marine offers haul in and out services as well as winterizing, and repair. Premier Marine Services recently acquired a brand new Custom Built Conolift YH-915XD hydraulic highway trailer.
We now have the ability to haul boats up to 55 feet in length and weighing up to 48,000 lbs.

Your pride and joy can be pampered throughout the winter with in-floor heat, floor drains, water service, 30 and 50 amp electrical hookups, and security cameras recording 24/7/365. For added peace of mind there is also an automatic backup generator so your toy will never be without power and heat throughout the winter or summer months.
You can access your boat at anytime with your own personal security access code. Lastly, we incorporated a full restroom facility on site with a private shower.
No other facility allows complete access to your personal property like Anchors Away does! We also can refer you to the best maintenance and service people in the region if you need something special done during the off season.
